Get excellent results from a non surgical facelift without the costs, risks, pain and downtime of cosmetic surgery
This is a revolutionary treatment designed to target several problem areas in one programme.
We use a combination of collagen induction therapy (also known as micro needling), IPL (intense pulsed light) and radio frequency to achieve significant anti ageing results. You will also be given a selection of nutrient rich products to use at home daily which will really increase the effects.
These treatments can be purchased as individual treatments to try them out or courses. A course of 4 or 6 treatments will produce the best results and we offer excellent discounts for booking a course.
Here at On Point Beauty Bar we always aim to offer the most cutting edge treatments at the best prices. Check out our Price List for individual and course prices
As a lot of the treatments we offer are not available elsewhere we suggest you compare prices across the country as we are confident, we will come out on top with the best value available.
Collagen induction therapy (microneedling) utilises and enhances the body’s own natural response to healing, stimulating the body’s own natural collagen repair and growth processes to significantly improve skin tone, texture and impurities.
Microneedling is truly a revolutionary approach to anti-ageing. This is a very cost-effective treatment with very little downtime, not to mention because the collagen stimulated is natural from your own body and not a foreign body being injected it lasts a lifetime. The collagen comes from your own body so is unlike injectables which begin to be broken down the moment they are injected. This treatment is also gentle enough to be used around the eye and lip area unlike a lot of other treatments.
IPL or intense pulsed light is a treatment that has been taking the aesthetics world by storm recently, endorsed by many celebrities as the key to maintaining youthful skin.
Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman are just a small selection of celebrities that use this combination of treatments to maintain youthful, even skin tone.
IPL uses wavelengths of light in the visible part of the spectrum to target specific colours in the skin say, for example, the colour red. In this example the colour red absorbs the specific wavelength of light emitted by the IPL machine and superheats that colour (say, for example red thread veins) very quickly.
The rapid heating destroys the red coloured cells which are then replaced by the body’s own healing response and process, eliminating the (in this case) blemish and replacing it with new healthy cells. IPL is used for hair removal, photo rejuvenation (e.g. the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage, and thread veins) as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases such as acne.
Radio frequency is mostly used to target ageing, loose and sagging skin however it can also be used to target stretch marks and cellulite. It works by using invisible radio waves in the electromagnetic spectrum to warm layers of the skin, gently increasing collagen production.
This treatment is perfect for both men and women, anybody that would like to sculpt problem areas while avoiding long periods of downtime.
The glow produced by radio frequency treatments is due to the fact that it helps to increase collagen production over time, however this treatment is a slower treatment to produce results than the treatments above.
If a client chooses radio frequency alone, they should expect to have 12 treatments this is why we here at On Point Beauty Bar often use radio frequency as a supportive treatment rather than a standalone treatment.
