IPL SHR Hair Removal

Affordable, lasting results for low maintenance, smooth skin

As with all treatments I have to confirm your suitability with a questionnaire and a patch test.

It is imperative you keep out of the sun after laser/IPL treatments for at least 2 weeks and keep covered and wear SPF 30+ on treated areas if you do have to go out in the sun.

IPL SHR stands for Intense Pulsed Light Super Hair Removal.

SHR is a revolutionary form of IPL. Previous hair removal with IPL was a long process that could be a little painful.

With SHR technology the hair removal methodology that involves the hair pigment uses only 50% of the energy for permanent hair removal (IPL previously used 100%). The remaining 50% is absorbed into the stem cells responsible for hair production through the skin during treatment with SHR technology.

The skin is massaged six to ten times using low energy but with high frequency. This procedure is referred to as the so-called “in-Motion” methodology, because the hand piece is moved over the treated area in sliding movements. (Unlike this, the IPL technology is called “stamp methodology”.)

Using the SHR technology the skin is heated gently through the melanin and the stem cells with low energy (48 degrees) but with high frequency. In that way even lighter and finer hair can be treated and removed. With IPL technology the skin is heated up to 70 degrees.

A special feature of the SHR-Technology: Sun-tanned skin can also be treated!

Treatment with SHR technology is fast, very effective and almost painless.

Hair follicles can only be destroyed when they are in their growth phase. Since not all hair is in a growth phase at the same time, it will take a cycle of 4 to 6 treatments to catch all the growing hair and achieve long lasting results.

Whilst laser and IPL hair removal can be very long lasting, it would be an untruth to say it is always permanent, and annual top ups may be required to ensure no re growth is experienced.

This great value, fast acting, long lasting and relatively pain free application makes this the weapon of choice on the follicular battle ground.

Additional Information

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space. Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too. Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does. Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that. Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
